A symposium for people interested in researching, cooking and serving medieval food, named for St Lorenzo, the patron saint of cooks. The proposed event will comprise several streams of classes, both theoretical and practical, and a potluck meal. Classes will include introduction to medieval cooking, advanced skills, feast logistics and presentation.
The event is still in the planning stages, as we await confirmation of the venue, but we are keen to start discussing the topics that people would like to see at the event, so we can arrange relevant teachers.
