St John’s Old Fashioned Community Fair

The Barony is invited to participate in St John’s Old Fashioned Community Fair where we will demonstrate our arts, sciences and martial prowess amidst many other fair activities. Come help us put our best foot forward.

St John’s Fair has been a regular feature in the Canberra calendar since the 1930’s. It’s a traditional fair jam packed full of entertainment, stalls, homemade jams and cakes, craft, books, food stalls, BBQ, Devonshire teas, coffee van, plants, clothing stall, Trinkets and Treasures, white elephant goods, plus lots more. Families love the children’s activities, including pony rides, jumping castle, face painting, fishing game, fairy floss, etc.

Reptiles Inc. with their bearded dragons, blue tongues, shingle backs, pythons, goannas, turtles, tree frogs, etc. were a big hit in 2017! Their aim is to make the public aware of Australian native fauna and promote conservation through education, in a fun and interactive way.

Experience all the fun of an old fashioned fair again in the heart of Canberra on 20th of October 2018. Put the date in your diary now!
