Regular training and practice times

Foundations of Armored Combat Course.

The barony runs a comprehensive introduction courses for armoured combat and rapier in the first semester, and the second semester on demand. We invite you all to pick up a sword and fight like a knight as they learnt the arts of medieval warfare in this full speed, full contact pursuit over an 10 week “Foundations of Armoured Combat” course. Sunday Practice: 3:00 to 5:30pm, Ainslie Scout Hall—corner of Ebden St and Hassell St, AINSLIE

An open practice session, free sparring and some informal training. Hall use is subject to the Wet Weather policy. $2 Hall fee (or annual fee) + $5 insurance (for non-members)
There is opportunity to do some pell work and other practice if you do not have amour yet or just hang out at the pub after. The barony has numerous pells, loaner armour, wasters and training shields at the hall for use. Please consult the Armoured Combat Marshal for more details.

Tuesday Practice: 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Ainslie Scout Hall—corner of Ebden St and Hassell St, AINSLIE

Intermediate & Advanced Training. $5 Hall fee + $5 insurance (for non-members).
Armoured drillwork followed by free sparring with constructive feedback. Training is focused on applied skills and general fighting concepts. Suitable for authorised combatants with their own armour and capable of self directing their own training.

Thursday Practice: 6:00pm, With the College of St Andronicus – University of Canberra

The College of Saint Andronicus has regular armoured fighter practice from 6pm most Thursdays, on the grassy area oustide Building 8, The College has some pells and wasters for use in training. Check with the college facebook group for details & updates.
