Come and join us for a relaxed day in a park, with tournaments (heavy and rapier) and various games, celebrating the end of the Society year.
Bring your food for a relaxing potluck picnic.
Given that it is the end of the year the Heavy tournament will be a test of endurance offering bouts by challenge. If you thought of a P’as D’Armes you wouldn’t be too far off the mark. Come prepared for florid challenges, pithy responses and robust exchanges!
If that’s not your thing, there will be board and outdoor games set up to test your skills and reasoning.
Timetable
- 10 am Site opens for setup
- 11 am Armour inspections and lists open for heavy and rapier
- Field and indoor games available for use
- 12 pm Tournament commencement (alternating rounds)
- 3pm. Fighting concludes
- 4.30 pm Pack up and site clean commences
- 6 pm Site closes
