Event types
Tournaments
A tournament (also called a tourney) is a spectator fighting event, in which male and female combatants compete one-on-one or in small groups.
- Heavy armoured combat or Renaissance fencing!
- Traditional, teams, and themed tournaments.
- Non-choreographed, martial arts competitions
Feasts
A feast is an event where…you guessed it, we feast! We decorate a hall with banners and hangings, and eat enormous quantities of delicious medieval food by candlelight.

Wars
The clash of swords, arrows flying, shouted commands and furious war cries…and a few minutes later, the ‘dead’ get up, drink some water, and grin as they reset for another go.

Camping events
Sometimes one day just isn’t enough for all things we want to do at an event – and when that happens, we often book a campsite so people can stay overnight.

Meetings and classes
We don’t only meet up for big events! If something more low-key, without all the costumes, we have Regular Meetings to socialise, train, learn, or work on projects.
